This video was shot in the months of March and May of 2009 in California, United States on the shores of the Pacific Ocean. The first shot is a water-only shot of some waist-high swells. Sounds are heard of waves rising, falling, and turning into foam as the surf hits the shore. There are about six surfers sitting on their surfboards waiting for a good enough wave. The sun angle is low, but the sunlight has not started to refract, so the water is still a muted blue-green color. A male longboarder in a dark wetsuit goes left, regular-foot, and stylishly grabs the right rail. He cross-steps toward the board's nose, and his arm's windmill as he exits the wave. At that very moment, a young man in a dark wetsuit rides his short board frenetically up and down the wave face, pivoting his board away from the whitewater as he ends his ride. Out in the lineup, two surfers gesture to each other about something off to the south. The video fades to another view of ten surfers. The sun is at a high angle, and the mid-day rays glisten off the incoming swells. A man in a black springsuit rides goofy-foot as he guides his teal longboard leftward, narrowly dodging a shortboarder swimming out to the lineup. The longboarder calmly rides out of view. Another man catches the wave behind, and rides his blue and red short board to his right, regular-foot. He kicks out as the wave nears shore. A clump of brown seaweed bobs up and down on the wavelets. A young male in a black wetsuit rides a green, white, and red shortboard regular foot. He ends his ride after a few seconds. A man in a black wetsuit rides a bright yellow alaia to his right. His board flips in the whitewater section, and he falls off. A goofy-foot male with black wetsuit and white longboard heads left. He ends his ride as the wave decays. The video fades to another shot surfers in the water, with the sun at a low angle. The nine surfers are almost silhouetted by the setting sun. A male with a black wetsuit rides his white longboard to his left. He skillfully rides regular foot just under the lip, and cross-steps to the surfboard's tail as he ends his ride. A surfer with a black wetsuit rides regular foot on a white longboard. The surfer heads rightward and cross-steps a few times, then exits the camera view. The video fades out.
