• This is a view from a high angle taken on a partly cloudy day. The sun is overhead.
• Some chaparral brush is seen growing out of the sand.
• A man with a cap walks by on the beach.
• Watch closely, and you can see the low-tide reef exposed when the clear water recedes. The ocean water calmly laps overtop the rock, then ebbs away.
• If the video player window is maximised, you can see about ten surfers taking advantage of the medium-sized swells.
• A shortboarder weaves in and out, going right.
• Two other surfers 'split the peak' of an incoming wave.
