This video shows unboxing of the Chromecast dongle. This dangling fob differs from a previous version of the Chromecast plugin since it is attached to the HDMI port of your TV by a flexible plastic cord (instead of using a rigid USB 'thumb-drive' type of plug-in). The Chromecast dongle needs its own electrical power source, and a power cord is included in the box, but you can plug it into the USB port of your TV (instead of plugging it into an AC electrical outlet in your wall). Once connected and configured, ChromeCast allows you to see most of the content from your laptop's or tablet's Google Chrome browser on your big television via your home's Wi-Fi network.
