This video features:
This video shows after the spring snow melts in Quebec, Canada, the turbulent water has its peak annual output. Here we see the "la Chaudière" waterfalls which is also a hydroelectric generating station (look for the horizontal spill gates near the top of the images). We see the "passerelle" which pedestrians can walk over to the other side of the canyon while getting a nice view of the flowing water below.
The second half of the video shows the Montmorency water falls ("la Chute Montmorency"), first viewed from an embankment on the south side of the Saint Lawrence Seaway, then a closer view from the waterline on the north side of the "ile de Orléans" (Orléans Island). If you look closely, you might be able to see a slender cable going from left to right in front of the falls. The cable holds cable cars for tourists who want a unique view. The waterfalls are publicly accessible by road from the plateau that is at the top of the falls (parking lot too). The expressway below has heavy traffic, and you are not allowed to stop and view from where the cars are passing, but you can drive your car to the *upper* part of the waterfalls for any selfies, etc.
