In December of 2013, we see a turbo-prop airplane operated by Air Canada Express being de-iced by a crew using a cherry-picker crane to get near the airplanes wings, flaps, & propellers. Airplanes are coated with the de-icing fluid to prevent ice buildups that can cause plane crashes in winter.
